Aff532 Pattern

Before you tell me, I know this design is out of sequence because I have been working to revise some of my sets that are used as mockups for the wallpaper, soft furnishings and other products for which my patterns could, if they were ever produced, find a use. This design was intended as soft furnishings and I was unhappy with the final result and so I have made some changes to the set in order to produce what I think is a better result.

The pattern is a very simple design that uses a motif inspired by those produced in the 1950s. The colouring is mid-century and is taken from my extended palette and gives the final design a definite mid-century feel but it also has, I believe, I look which would work well with modern decor..

The intention is to use this design as curtains and I’m hoping that I can produce a good quality mockup which looks a little more realistic and a little better than the ones that I have used recently.

If you wish, you can also see larger versions of this and, of course, my other designs and patterns for interiors on my Flickr page, a link to which is here.
