Aff528 As A Bag And A Box

This pattern does make very good wallpaper when used at the scale shown in the swatch and also when I used it at a much lower scale to allow the motif to be more prominent. However, I now see this pattern as being more suitable for paper both for wrapping and for creating bags and also as a suitable material for a gift box.

The two images above show the design used as a paper texture for a gift bag and also as a cardboard texture for a gift box and I think in both cases the design has a mid-century charm and an elegance.

The background colours and the colours of the motifs can obviously be changed in order to produce a different effect although, despite some experimentation, I decided to leave the background colour as yaffle green. This is a colour less frequently seen today but I feel that it is now ready for some further exposure.

If you wish, you can also see larger versions of this and, of course, my other designs and patterns for interiors on my Flickr page, a link to which is here.
