Aff525 As Pattern

We are back to much more normal mid-century inspiration patterns but this time, of course, with a Belle Epoque 2 look to them shown by the relatively small-scale and fast repeat as well as the rather bold colouring.
This design was intended as a wall covering which, because of its Belle Epoque 2 nature, would be for a small feature wall to provide some contrast, depth and colour to an otherwise bland room such as a living room.
The inspiration for the pattern is in the very simple mid-century designs for flowers while the colouring uses colours that would have been available at that time. The colours, however, are chosen for their boldness and impact. Although intended as wallpaper, this design would also work, I believe, for soft furnishings and when I use it as a texture in my 3D work I will try out various scenarios to see which will work the best.
If you wish, you can also see larger versions of this and, of course, my other designs and patterns for interiors on my Flickr page, a link to which is here.
