Aff492 Pattern

This pattern was designed with my ideas of Belle Epoque 2 in mind and was intended for use in the home as soft furnishing, most probably for cushions, chair covers and curtains.

The motif is mid-century inspired and, once again, the colours are from the extended mid-century palette that I have been using now for sometime. I did toy with the idea of using this design as wallpaper but with, of course, a different colouring but I felt that the design would work better for fabric.

As befits patterns created to conform to Belle Epoque 2, the design is very regular and has a definite way to it which, I have to be honest, is something that I like to see in fabric.

If you wish, you can also see larger versions of this and, of course, my other designs and patterns for interiors on my Flickr page, a link to which is here.
