Aff491 Another Carpet Design

This is another carpet design which, for continuity, is shown as carpet in the same room as in the last post, except that the sofa fabric has been changed to something that I think looks a little nicer.

This design, like the last one, was inspired by my ideas of Belle Epoque 2 and, as you can see, it is small-scale with a simple motif and a fast repeat. Once again, the motifs are simple ones that could have existed and been used during the mid-century period while the colours are also ones which would have been available at that time.

The pattern is intended to look unified but with a definite sense of movement to complement the dimensions of the room and hopefully make the room look larger as a result. The colours are bright and bold but the whole is not intended to be too intrusive.

The sofa fabric has been changed to a new texture which I have created using Filter Forge 7 and which I think looks a little more like fabric.

If you wish, you can also see larger versions of this and, of course, my other designs and patterns for interiors on my Flickr page, a link to which is hehttps://www.flickr.com/photos/134376528@N06/re.
