Aff423 Fashion Top

Going back to the post that I posted last, this design was created from the outset for the purpose of being a fashion fabric for a top and for the model shown in the illustration above.

This particular illustration is a scene that takes place in a bus shelter and is in the process of design and construction and so the image shown above is a small section so that both I and you can see the pattern on a garment and so get an idea of the way that it will look.

The motif and the colours are both from my extended mid-century palette although the way the design is constructed is quite universal and so it could be a modern design, or it could equally have been produced, I feel, during the 1960s or possibly earlier in the United Kingdom.

I am pleased to be able to get back to using these figures, which come from Daz Studio, in order to create artwork that shows off the designs that I’m making in the way in which I intended them to look.
