Green Mid-Century Bus Seats Swatch

You will know that I like to design seat textures particularly for public transport and this texture was created just for the bus seats in my mid-century styled omnibus.

There is nothing remarkable about the motif or the colours used they are, as you would expect, mid-century inspired but what I liked was the way it all went together to give a very effective and authentic, I think, look.

The seats are simple but are intended to give the feel of a British bus and the fabric pattern uses motifs that are, I feel, similar to mid-century patterns while the colours, of course, are from the mid-century palette. And, according to my notes made at the time, they are: a background of marble green with Pacific blue, moss green, nightshade and brass.

If you would like to see larger versions of these designs and my other work then you can do so on my Flickr page, a link to which is here.
