Clean Flowers

This is a nice, clean mid-century inspired pattern that uses mid-century colours from the British Standard palette as well as shapes that have a 1950’s or maybe a 1960’s flavour.

It was designed to be simple and yet to catch the eye, so it is perhaps a little harder to choose a target for the design. I originally intended it to be for furniture but, on reflection and having now seen it, it is perhaps more suitable for soft furnishings.

It uses a background which is magnolia together with yellow, red and green but incorporating also lovely nightshade and cyclamen.

If you would like to see larger versions of these designs and my other work then you can do so on my Flickr page, a link to which is here.
