Mid-century Inspired Pattern

Modern Mid-century

Mid-century patterns have a charm all their own and one that seems to resonate with so many interior home decorators today.

This design uses basic mid-century colours as well as mid-century motifs to create a simple repeated design that I have ‘scrambled’ to make it more interesting and, of course, make it more ‘modern’.

The design uses a background of off white with nightshade, reef red, fiesta blue, parakeet and canary yellow, all of which are from the mid-century palette.

If you would like to see larger versions of these designs and my other work then you can do so on my Flickr page, a link to which is here.
