1960’s Influenced Car Seat Design
Just lately, over the last year or so, I have noticed that car seat fabrics are getting just a little bit more brighter and more patterned. It is a welcome trend, in my view, because patterned seat covers make a change and look much more decorative and upbeat.
This design was created a few weeks back and has waited until I was able to get the vehicle, it’s the Ranger car from Daz Studio, out of that program and exported into Cinema 4D. The design is very mid-century and uses, of course, colours from the mid-century British Standard colour palette in use at the time.
I have a liking for creating transport patterns since I often feel that there is a need to brighten up our public and private seating and make it just a little more decorative to help us feel at our best.
If you would like to see larger versions of these designs and my other work then you can do so on my Flickr page, a link to which is here.
