Flowers And Flying Things Swatch

I don’t really have a sense of humour so I’m told but if I did then this would be what is described in the wallpaper catalogues as a ‘whimsical’ design.

The motif is mid-century inspired being a 1960’s flower from the flower-power era, while the colours, too, are from the mid-century range. They are, according to my notes, a background that is daybreak with poppy, cyclamen, Post Office red, canary yellow and orange for the motif.

As a wall covering, the effect is to produce a warm, comforting look to the room , making it friendly and engaging; just the sort of look that is required for a living area.

If you would like to see larger versions of these designs and my other work then you can do so on my Flickr page, a link to which is here
