Tree And Leaf Swatch

I’m pleased now with the way that the models, or should I say mannequins, are looking and behaving on my new set for showcasing the patterns for fashion.

This pattern is, once again, a design that was created which uses mid-century colours and motifs and so would not look out of place in a mid-century catalogue. The background colour is nightshade while the motifs use brass, poppy red, fiesta blue, flake grey and Paris green. The stroke is either chocolate or magnolia.

As well as using this pattern for fashion, I also tried it as a furnishing fabric design and was surprised that it worked so well. You can see the result in the other images on my Flickr page.

If you would like to see larger versions of these designs and my other work then you can do so on my Flickr page, a link to which is here
