Green Cushions

Green is a colour that I tend not to overuse but that colour, particularly mid-century, was a colour that was very much in use, especially in its darker shades.

These cushions, at first glance appear, the same but in fact there are two colour variation and I have created them in a mid green which I think gives them both a contemporary mid-century look as well as being quite modern and suitable to grace modern furniture.

The pattern is the sort of design that would have been used in the latter part of the 1960s, perhaps. Again, as a new departure for me, I have used a motif in the centre with shapes that circulate around and I think that this gives the cushions a pleasant, refined and centred look. These designs are not yet available in my Redbubble store although I will shortly be uploading some new patterns.

As ever, you can also see larger versions of this and, of course, my other work on my Flickr page which is here.
