Quiet Green Wallpaper Swatch

Some wallpapers look loud, they are full of contrast, bright colours and shapes that catch the eye while others are what I call quiet, they go about their business without creating a lot of fuss but in so doing they make a big difference to the room in which they reside.

This wallpaper, created with mid-century styles in mind, is intended to be a quiet one, it does not have colours or forms that catch the eye and it is not at a scale which immediately makes you look. The whole idea is that the visitor really does not immediately see the paper until they become accustomed to the room and begin to look round. It is then that they notice the unusual design and the reversals in the pattern.

The wall is intended to blend seamlessly with the rest of the room and to create a look which harmonises with the room and the furnishing.

As ever, you can also see larger versions of this and, of course, my other work on my Flickr page which is here.
