Small Scale Walls

Small Scale Walls

Mid-century inspired pattern

Small Scale Walls Swatch

I quite like the various wallpaper patterns that I have done recently which use a small scale and which emulate a texture and I have had some good feedback.

This is a further similar pattern which is based on a motif which is perhaps modern but which successfully uses mid-century colours and which was designed to be used at a small scale. You can see in the illustration above how the pattern produces something which resembles more a texture than a motif and it gives the wall a very solid, unified look rather than the more fragmented look of a pattern which uses a larger motif.

Obviously other colours can be used very successfully with this design and it could be adapted to suit whatever wall space was required.

As ever, you can also see larger versions of this and, of course, my other work on my Flickr page which is here.
