Circles On A Large Scale Swatch

Sometimes you just have to make it big in order to create the type of statement that you want and to fill the canvas that is before you.

As you can perhaps guess from the swatch, I originally had lesser aspirations for this particular design when it was created. Although intended it to be curtain fabric – or possibly fashion fabric – I decided, after seeing the result, that it would be far better used at a larger scale.

I have employed my usual curtain set which shows one complete curtain from top to bottom and so gives a very good representation of the way that the fabric would look using this pattern. I’m pleased that I have not been disappointed in making the scale much larger than I had originally intended.

As ever, you can also see larger versions of this and, of course, my other work on my Flickr page which is here.
