Flowery Cushions

Mid-century inspired pattern

Flowery Cushions

Cushions are most important in a room and new cushions can give your space and your furniture a new look without spending a tremendous amount of money.

These cushions are flowery cushions based on a mid-century look but the flowers are done in a rather stylised way since those who know me will know that I do not like floral patterns (and neither, for that reason, am I very good at them). This design, however, came out quite well and looks quite reasonable and will therefore form a pattern for some floral cushions in a month or so’s time on Redbubble.

The colours used are also mid-century, after some experimentation I decided to choose lovely vanilla and magnolia to provide a restful look and a suitable foil for the pattern.

You can, should you wish, also see larger versions of this and my other work on my Flickr page which is here.
