Cool And Relaxing Fabric as cushions

The fabric that surrounds us in our homes and our offices can, and does, play an important role in how we feel and how we perceive the world.

This design, once it is finished and becomes fabric, is designed to be both cool on a hot day and to be relaxing and to an extent soothing.

The pattern uses mid-century ideas and motifs and also makes use of many of the colours from the British Standard palette of that period. The fabric is shown here how it would look made into firstly curtains and then as cushions.

As ever, you can also see larger versions of this and my other work on my Flickr page which is here.
