Flowers And Eggtimers

One thing that I do like to create are mid-century inspired patterns that have a small motif and also have a fast repeat.

This design is uses as a central motif a flower that could have been straight out of 1960s London’s Carnaby Street. I decided that I needed an equally small motif to go between the flowers and the result is as you see. OK, so it’s not quite an eggtimer but it’s close. The colours used in this pattern are, of course, real mid-century colours and were chosen to show off the pattern.

As ever, you can also see larger versions of all these images and more on our Flickr page which is here.
