Colourful Curtains 2

The curtains I posted yesterday were very colourful, very striking curtains and were designed to make a statement in a room as is this pattern today.

Rather than use squares, this design uses circles and then easy patterns within the circles to create an all over pattern. Again, this design is intended to make a statement although, it has to be said, it is not as much a statement as was the previous pattern! Nonetheless, I have shown it in the same room in order to allow a direct comparison. Having had a chance to see both I have to say that I like both of them.

There are, you will notice, some slight changes to the items in the room and these are simply small additions to make the room look more habitable. I had originally intended the rooms to be simply bare sets but it was suggested to me by a friend that it might be better to have more content within them to make them look more homely. Whilst not wanting to make the rooms the subject of the picture – it is after all intended to show the patterns – I have included a few small items which go some way towards this.

As ever, you can also see larger versions of this and our other work on our Flickr page which is here.
