Late 60s Wallpaper Design

The later years of the 1960s decade in the United Kingdom was the time that saw produced some of the most radical and stylised patterns.

This design is typical of the stylised flower pattern that went on to characterise the period and here it is used with a dark background as a wall covering design. To keep the atmosphere looking genuine I have repainted both the pelmet and the skirting to match while the curtains, too, have received an uplift. The room. I think, looks bright and alive now – an effect that the householder then when have appreciated.
