Stylish Dining Room Curtains

The 1950s and 60s with a time of brightness and light in the United Kingdom, a country emerging from the darkness of the Second World War.

New materials were appearing and there were new designers ready to take advantage of these and to produce brave new designs for the modern world that they were creating. Curtains, after the florals of the 1940s, became much more varied and brighter with a whole new world of designs.

This pattern draws on the various motifs and ideas prevalent at the time to produce a rather busy pattern which was intended for a heavy fabric and is shown here as curtains in a dining room. The design was created in Xara Designer while the room is the 1966 dining room used before. That room was created, as was the image above, in Cinema 4D.
