Happily I am now able to use my elbow to a much greater extent and can therefore use the mouse properly, at least for short periods.

I am not giving up creating designs using Processing since this is a very cool way of making patterns which use small motifs and have a fast repeat.

This design is intended to resemble rain against the window although I decided, thankfully, not to actually call it that. It was made with my usual design software which is Adobe Illustrator and the advantage of doing that is that it is simpler to change the shapes and to draw shapes that have a curve. After applying the pattern as a texture in Cinema 4D using my mid-century living room set I found what I think is the correct size for the individual elements and I was pleased with the result.
