Kitchen Wallpaper

Kitchen wallpaper

Wallpaper should not be confined, as it often is, to just the living and bedrooms but can make a decorative difference all over the house.

The wall design here is a pattern that was intended for use in either a kitchen or similar room used intermittently. It could well be made in a washable or other easy to clean finish making it as useful as an alternative to a tiled surface. Over tiles it has the advantage of being cheaper and much easier to change over time.

The design is intended to be noticeable and to make a difference to the look of the room and so it needs careful consideration before using but the effect makes the effort all the more worthwhile. In different colours it could be useful as a more general wall covering in other rooms.

The design is similar and takes inspiration from the many designs used mid-century.

You can also see larger versions of this and our other work on our Flickr page which is here.
