Mid-century inspired furnishing patterns

Mid-century inspired furnishing patterns

A regular, simple, very everyday but I think really nice repeating pattern used here as a furnishing fabric on a sofa and a chair.

This particular design owes, as most of my designs do, more than a little to the various mid-century furnishing patterns that appeared over the 1950s and 60s. As well as the simple but dated motifs, the colours are those of the original British Standard.

Larger and more detailed images of the both the chair and the sofa can be found on my Flickr feed, the link is here.

The patterns were created in Adobe Illustrator and then Cinema 4D and my furnishing set was used to produce the final render before the image was tidied up in Photoshop.
