1950s style wallpaper

Here is another 1950s style wallpaper showing the dramatic and surprising difference that colour and scale can make to a pattern.

This is a really nice paper and, again, it is shown on both walls for the best effect. The difference in the ambience of the room created by the two colours and the difference in scale is surprising and would have given a mid-century home-maker a good selection of styles to use. Personally, I have to say that I prefer the light colour. Also the scale on the lighter colour shows the ‘sense’ of the paper better in that it creates horizontal lines which stretch the apparent size of the room.

The designs were make in Adobe Illustrator and the image was created, rendered and produced using my period living room in Cinema 4D.
